About OctaneDaily
Who we are, how we work, and why you can trust what you read here.
OctaneDaily is an independent automotive newsroom based in London, covering the car world for readers in the United States and worldwide: new models, spy shots, electric cars, the business of the industry and proper road tests — fast, and checked twice.
How we work
Every story names its author and cites its sources. News is reported by the editor on shift and reviewed by a second pair of eyes before publishing. When manufacturers provide photography, we say so in the credit line under the image. Corrections are made promptly and flagged in the article — our full policy is on the Ethics & Corrections page.
Funding & independence
OctaneDaily is funded by advertising. Advertisers never see stories before publication and have no influence on coverage. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage, and we disclose it when a manufacturer covers travel for a launch event.
Company
OctaneDaily is published by ST32 GROUP LLP, London, United Kingdom. For partnerships and general enquiries, see the Contact page.
