Ford Puts Carhartt Workwear on the F-150 — a $4,195 Package for America's Best-Seller
Orders are open for the $4,195 workwear package on the XLT SuperCrew, arriving alongside a 2027 refresh that adds a new base engine and hands-free towing.

Ford has opened order books for the 2027 F-150 Carhartt, a $4,195 package that brings the Detroit workwear brand's look to the company's volume seller. It follows the Super Duty Carhartt revealed in May and arrives as part of a broader mid-cycle update to the 2027 F-150 lineup.
The package is limited to the XLT SuperCrew with four-wheel drive and starts at $62,660 before destination charges. Ford says trucks will reach customers in early 2027.

Outside, the Carhartt gets its own 20-inch wheels, branded fender vents, and textured graphics along the lower rockers and tailgate — placed low on purpose, where paint takes the most abuse from gravel and road salt. A spray-in bedliner with Carhartt lettering is part of the deal.

The cabin is the centerpiece. Seat covers use a two-tone cloth that nods to Carhartt's brown duck canvas, sewn with the brand's signature triple stitch, and contrast stitching carries over to the steering wheel, door panels, and center console lid.

Even the all-weather floor mats have a backstory: Ford color and materials designer Bhavna Mistry says their tread pattern copies the bottom of a Carhartt tool bag. "The seat doesn't just wear the Carhartt logo, it wears the Carhartt story," she wrote in a design post accompanying the launch.

A pattern, not a one-off
The two companies are working under a multi-year partnership, and Ford pitches the tie-up as an obvious fit: Carhartt was founded in Detroit in 1889 and, according to the automaker, was already supplying work clothes to Ford factory employees in the 1920s. The half-ton package costs the same $4,195 as the Super Duty version, which starts at $61,095 on an F-250 XLT Crew Cab.
General Motors got there first, though. Chevrolet sold a Carhartt edition of the Silverado HD for the 2021 and 2022 model years before that deal ran its course — this time, the workwear brand is on Ford's side of the fence.
The rest of the 2027 F-150 news
The Carhartt headlines a wider refresh. A new 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 replaces the 2.7-liter as the base engine; Ford claims identical peak output but roughly 10 to 11 percent more torque in everyday driving. The 5.0-liter V8 also returns to King Ranch and Platinum for the first time since 2023, making it available across the entire range.
The 2027 truck introduces BlueCruise with Towing as well, letting drivers tow hands-free on more than 130,000 miles of mapped divided highways — a first for Ford and available on every BlueCruise-equipped trim. XLT through Platinum models get new grilles and wheel designs, and cheaper entry versions of the Tremor and Raptor keep the off-road hardware while trimming comfort features.

Order banks for the full 2027 lineup are open now. If the Super Duty is any indication, the half-ton Carhartt should move quickly: that truck went from order books in May to customer deliveries within the year.
