Lexus Prices the 2027 IS From $47,545 — but Its Green Special Edition Is Still a Mystery
The 2027 IS starts at $47,545 with the same 311-hp V6, while the Envious green Special Appearance Package — capped at 350 cars — still has no price tag.
Lexus has put a price on the 2027 IS: $47,545 to start, including a $1,395 delivery fee. The bigger question mark hangs over the lineup's halo — the Envious green Special Appearance Package that debuted in Miami last month still doesn't have a sticker.
The formula doesn't change. Every 2027 IS is an IS 350, powered by a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 with 311 hp and offered in two grades, F SPORT Design and F SPORT, each with rear- or all-wheel drive. Rear-drive cars pair the eight-speed automatic with a Torsen limited-slip differential, and a sport-tuned adaptive suspension remains part of the hardware set.

The Special Appearance Package builds on the F SPORT and pairs the new Envious green paint with 19-inch black BBS forged wheels. Inside, black NuLuxe seats get Ultrasuede inserts, green contrast stitching, and satin chrome trim. Lexus says only 350 examples will be built for North America, following the package's reveal at the end of the IS 25th Legacy Tour in August.
Elsewhere, the changes are light. F SPORT Design models pick up a new 19-inch black machine-finished wheel and a standard heated steering wheel. The cabin carries over its twin 12.3-inch displays, Forged Bamboo console trim, and a 10-speaker audio system, with a 17-speaker Mark Levinson setup on the options list.
Lexus has released a limited-run IS special every year since 2022, and the outgoing version gives a hint of where the Envious car might land: the 2026 package, finished in Hakugin Matte White, stickered at $61,485 with rear-wheel drive, or $63,095 with AWD.
That annual ritual is doing a lot of work for a sedan whose underpinnings trace back to 2014. The lineup has already been trimmed around the V6: the turbo-four IS 300 is gone, and the V8-powered IS 500 bowed out with its Ultimate Edition. What's left is one of the last naturally aspirated six-cylinder sport sedans on sale in the US — a car Lexus seems content to keep polishing rather than replace.
The 2027 IS reaches dealers later this year. Pricing and allocation details for the Special Appearance Package are still to come — expect them closer to launch, and expect the 350 cars to go quickly.
