Lexus LX Gets Another Price Bump for 2027 — and Not Much Else
Darker wheels, red brake calipers, and a Palomino cabin headline a light refresh — while every one of the seven LX trims gets $900 to $1,960 more expensive.
Lexus has detailed the 2027 LX, and the quickest way to describe the update is this: a handful of trim-level touches, and a higher price on every single version. The flagship SUV now starts at $109,050 including the destination fee, up $1,100 from the 2026 model.
The base Premium grade picks up 20-inch wheels in a darker finish and a digital rearview mirror as standard equipment. It can also be optioned with the one-touch auto-arrange power-folding rear seats through the Interior Upgrade package — a feature that becomes standard on the F Sport Handling and Overtrail grades.
The F Sport Handling gets the most visible changes. Red-painted brake calipers are now standard at both axles, and the trim gains access to the Palomino interior, a warm tan shade previously reserved for the more sedate grades. That's the full list of what's new inside and out.
The pricing chart moved more than the spec sheet. Compared with the 2026 lineup, the increases break down like this, with destination included:
- LX 600 Premium: $109,050 (up $1,100)
- LX 600 F Sport Handling: $116,910 (up $1,960)
- LX 600 Luxury: $117,850 (up $900)
- LX 700h Overtrail: $118,055 (up $1,370)
- LX 700h F Sport Handling: $120,910 (up $1,960)
- LX 700h Luxury: $121,850 (up $900)
- LX 700h Ultra Luxury: $143,350 (up $900)
Part of that is the destination charge itself, which rises from $1,450 to $1,550. Even so, both F Sport Handling versions carry the largest real increase in the lineup while gaining little more than calipers and a color option.
Nothing changes under the skin. The LX 600 keeps its 409-hp twin-turbo 3.4-liter V6, the LX 700h hybrid still makes 457 hp and 583 lb-ft with an EPA-estimated 20 mpg combined, and both use a 10-speed automatic. Towing stays at 8,000 pounds across the range.
This is the second quiet year in a row for the LX. The 2026 update added a standard head-up display and the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 suite for a $500 bump. Lexus can afford the slow drip: the LX plays in a thinner air than most full-size luxury SUVs, starting more than $23,000 above the 2026 Infiniti QX80's $85,940 base price.
Lexus says the 2027 LX reaches dealerships later this year.
