The Cheapest Escalade Is Gone: 2027 Lineup Now Starts Above $100,000
Cadillac has dropped the entry trim and opened the 2027 configurator: the standard SUV now starts at $102,700, and a loaded V-Series ESV passes $193,000.
Cadillac has opened the 2027 Escalade configurator and posted prices for the full lineup, and the floor has moved: the least expensive version now lists at $102,700 before destination. For the first time, there is no way to buy the standard Escalade for less than six figures.
The trim walk on Cadillac's site covers five versions of the standard-wheelbase SUV: Luxury at $102,700, Sport at $103,300, Platinum Luxury at $124,200, Platinum Sport at $124,700, and the V-Series at $169,300. The long-wheelbase ESV opens at $105,700, a $3,000 premium over the standard body. All figures are MSRP without the destination charge.
The new floor is the result of a deletion rather than a straight price bump. Cadillac hasn't issued a pricing release or a list of model-year changes; the numbers surfaced when the configurator went live, and the entry-level 1SA trim that anchored the 2026 range is gone from it. According to The Drive, the 2026 base model listed at $93,995 with destination, while the cheapest 2027 truck comes to $105,595 once the $2,895 fee is added — an $11,600 jump at the bottom of the range. Cadillac itself hasn't confirmed the destination charge for 2027.
Close to $200,000 at the top
The V-Series ESV now stickers at $175,195 with destination, according to Autoblog's run through the configurator. Adding premium paint ($1,325), the Onyx Package ($5,200), and the Executive Second Row Seating Package ($7,500), plus accessories and extended OnStar plans, pushed the outlet's build to $193,349 — without exhausting the options list.
The pricing puts more daylight between the Escalade and everything it competes with. The 2026 Lincoln Navigator starts at $91,995 before destination, and the Infiniti QX80 opens at $83,750 — its top Autograph grade, at $111,500, now sits closer to a mid-level Escalade than to the V. The stiffest competition may come from inside GM: the 2027 Chevrolet Suburban tops out at $87,200 for the High Country, more than $15,000 below the cheapest Escalade on shared underpinnings.
Two gaps remain. Cadillac hasn't published 2027 pricing for the electric Escalade IQ, which is still listed as a 2026 model from $127,405. And the company hasn't said what else, if anything, changes for the new model year beyond the trim cuts.
