Stellantis Puts Ex-VW America Boss Pablo Di Si in Charge of Jeep and Ram
CEO Antonio Filosa had been running the region himself. Di Si now inherits full Jeep lots, a booming Ram and a thin regional profit.

Stellantis has handed day-to-day control of Jeep, Ram, Dodge and Chrysler to a dedicated executive again. Pablo Di Si, a former head of Volkswagen's North American business, is now chief operating officer for North America and the company's American brands, effective immediately.
The move ends an unusual arrangement. Antonio Filosa, who became Stellantis CEO on June 23, 2025, had kept running the region alongside the top job. The timing is telling: the company's third-quarter results showed Jeep inventory well above the industry average, and it has promised leaner dealer lots by the end of December.
Who Di Si is
Di Si joins the Stellantis leadership team and reports directly to Filosa, the company said in an announcement from Amsterdam on Nov. 4. He brings more than 25 years across finance, strategy, business development and operations.
He knows the company from the inside. Before Volkswagen, where he led operations in both North and South America, he held several leadership roles at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, one of the two groups that merged to form Stellantis. Most recently he was Stellantis' chief performance officer, running the Value Creation Program, the company's global push on costs and competitiveness.
In his own statement, Di Si said he would work with employees, dealers, suppliers, unions and partners across the U.S., Canada and Mexico to grow the business.
A new finance team around him
Three more appointments came in the same announcement:
- Jon Nelson becomes North America CFO, reporting to Di Si. He takes the role from Joao Laranjo, who had covered it on top of his job as group CFO.
- Gustavo Soloaga, a veteran of Groupe PSA and Stellantis finance, replaces Di Si as chief performance officer and reports to Laranjo.
- Alexandre Sorel succeeds Nelson as CEO of Stellantis Financial Services and keeps his job running the lender's European business.

What he inherits
Stellantis says the North American team has already improved factory efficiency and quality, tightened inventory and restored customer choice. The third-quarter numbers show how far that has gone. Regional shipments fell 12% to 357,000 vehicles, while the region returned to a thin profit of €64 million after a €475 million loss a year earlier.
The brands are moving in opposite directions. Ram outsold Jeep in the U.S. in the quarter, 134,072 vehicles to 128,542, as Jeep sales dropped 20%. At the end of September, Cox Automotive counted 169 days of supply for Jeep and 149 for Dodge, against an industry average of 82. Dodge, meanwhile, is doubling down on gasoline engines after slow Charger Daytona EV sales.
For buyers, a leadership change rarely shows up on window stickers right away. Clearing stock by December is now Di Si's first test, and that usually means rebates and cheap financing rather than price cuts. Our Detroit Three truck scorecard shows where Ram stands against Ford and GM going into that push.
Stellantis hasn't said whether brand chiefs at Jeep, Ram and Dodge will now report to Di Si or whether any product plans change.
