The 2027 Kia K4 Starts at $22,390 — Here's the Full Sedan and Hatchback Price List
Every trim rises $200 to $300 and destination climbs $50, yet the base K4 still costs $985 less than a base Corolla. The hatchback is a different story.
Kia's cheapest car costs a little more for 2027, but it still undercuts the default picks in its class. The 2027 K4 sedan starts at $22,390, or $23,635 once the $1,245 destination charge is added, according to pricing Kia published on September 30.
That puts the entry-level LX $985 below a base 2027 Toyota Corolla, the car that anchors our Honda Civic vs. Toyota Corolla comparison.
Compared with the 2026 model's launch prices, every trim rises by $200 except the LXS, which goes up $300. Destination climbs $50 from $1,195. Here's the full 2027 lineup:
- K4 LX: $22,390 ($23,635 with destination)
- K4 LXS: $23,590 ($24,835)
- K4 EX: $24,590 ($25,835)
- K4 GT-Line: $25,590 ($26,835)
- K4 GT-Line Turbo: $28,490 ($29,735)
- K4 Hatchback EX: $25,090 ($26,335)

The updates are cosmetic. The GT-Line Premium Package now adds 18-inch black alloy wheels on both body styles. Sedan buyers choosing the GT-Line or GT-Line Turbo can also pair a red interior with Steel Gray paint.
Kia's announcement lists no mechanical changes. For 2026, the K4 used a 147-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a CVT, while GT-Line Turbo models got a 190-hp turbocharged 1.6-liter.
Toyota lists the 2027 Corolla LE at $23,325 before its $1,295 processing and handling fee, or $24,620 in total, per Toyota's August 18 announcement. The Corolla answers that $985 premium with more power: its 2.0-liter is rated at 169 hp.
The gap to Honda is wider. Honda's latest Civic sedan pricing, for the 2026 model, starts the LX at $25,890 with destination. That's $2,255 more than a K4 LX.
The hatchback math runs the other way. A K4 Hatchback EX costs $26,335 delivered, while Toyota's 2027 Corolla Hatchback SE comes to $26,075, so the Toyota is $260 cheaper. Kia's hatch does have a fresh endorsement: it was named best value by Northwest Automotive Press Association judges last week.
Kia has little reason to cut deeper. Sales on its combined K4/Forte line rose 43% in September to 12,658 cars, part of the brand's best quarter ever. Year to date, the line is up a more modest 3%, at 111,212 units.
The K4 follows the 2027 K5 pricing Kia announced a week earlier. Kia hasn't said when 2027 K4s will reach dealers, and it hasn't published the price of the GT-Line Premium Package that brings the new wheels.
